Don Bosco

Business Need

The need was to partner with Don Bosco to help the 38 underprivileged men that were identified at Don Bosco’s single room to improve their employability and upskill them for the industry.

Solution

As part of a CSR initiative, Walchand Plus and Rustomjee Foundation jointly designed a program where these 38 men had to be trained to write projects and on interview handling skills to face the interviewers from organizations like Mahindra First Choice, Sai Service, etc. Walchand Plus trainers worked closely with each of these men to ensure that they overcame the mental and skill roadblocks to improve their chances of integrating with the mainstream workforce.

Impact

The program ensured that the men were able to crack their job and become bread earners for their families. Essential communication skills, interview skills helped them with the edge required in a competitive, unorganized market.
